Three important things

By 16/10/2018Blog

If you’ve been reading my posts for a while, you’ll know that one of the topics I return to a lot is the security of industrial equipment and data security moving in and out of that equipment.

I say “I return to”, it might be more accurate to say that I talk about it ‘til I’m blue in the face.

Why?

Because it’s important.

Sensitive data has never been more vulnerable than it is right now – the Google + shut down shows how easily data can be compromised.

And that’s why we exist – to provide Datakey portable data carriers that give you the physical security provided by the non-standard form factor and matching connectors.

So today, I just thought I’d share three important things related to our cause:

  1. Brand new Datakey Read-Only DFX PC Adaptor

In addition to the RUGGEDrive product range that we already supply, we’re delighted to announce that we also now supply a Read-Only PC Adaptor.

The adaptor is designed to prevent accidental deletion or modification of recorded data, without the need for a read/write switch, safeguarding logged data once the token has been removed from the host.

To find out more about the adaptor, just click HERE.

  1. We’re highly commended!

As I announced a few weeks ago, Datakey Serial Memory was one of the finalists at the Electronics Industry Awards, and I’m delighted to announce that we were highly commended in the Embedded Solution Product category. If you’d like to understand more about why we were highly commended, just hit reply and we’ll jump on a call.

  1. We’re at a show!

This Wednesday and Thursday sees the return of my favourite UK trade show – the Engineering Design Show.

It takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, we’re exhibiting, so if you’re planning on coming, please do come over and say hello. You’ll find us on stand L18.

And if you’re not coming and you want to, there’s still time to register for free, so click HERE and do that now.

Visit our stand, and I’ll be happy to chat to you about our products, including the new adaptor, in more detail, and it’d be great to catch up.

Hopefully see you at the show?
